How do I create a ZIP file online?

Upload one or more files using the drop zone or file picker. You can add more files; each appears in the list. Remove any you do not want, then click "Create ZIP". Download result.zip. Everything runs in your browser.

Are my files sent to a server?

No. The ZIP is created in your browser using JSZip. Your files never leave your device.

What file types can I add?

You can add any file type: documents, images, videos, etc. All files are added to the ZIP with their original names.

Can I remove files from the list before creating the ZIP?

Yes. Each file in the list has a remove button. Click it to remove that file. Then click "Create ZIP" to build the archive with the remaining files.

What is the name of the downloaded file?

The downloaded file is named result.zip. You can rename it after downloading if you prefer.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The tool runs in the mobile browser. Add files from your device, create the ZIP, and download. No app install required.

Is there a limit on how many files I can add?

There is no fixed limit. Very many or very large files may use a lot of memory and take longer. For typical use (e.g. dozens of files), the tool works well.

Can I create a ZIP with folders?

This tool adds all files to the root of the ZIP (no folder structure). For a ZIP with folders, use a desktop app or a tool that supports folder structure.
